When Two Tribes...
2011 sees the debut of the Christchurch Park Boules Club in the Suffolk Coastal Petanque League when the membership is split to form 2 teams.
Due to the geographical arrangement of divisions, both teams will be allocated into the same group and therefore the ''Round Ponders'' will have two in-house derby matches against the ''Mansioneers''
Visiting teams to The Triangle will be able to take advantage of the use of the Mansion Cafe before, during and after each match.

Welcome
Hello and welcome to the newly formed Christchurch Park Boules Club, based in Ipswich.
Officially formed late 2010, the club has grown from interest generated from the 2010 Grant Funded Boules In The Park event held last July and plan to have two teams in this seasons 2011 Suffolk Coastal Petanque League.
The playing area used is known as ''The Triangle'' and sits immediately in front of the Christchurch Mansion Cafe, between the Mansion and the, medieval in origin, Round Pond.
Membership of the club is available in two tiers of membership. Level One is just £12 per person per calendar year (if you own your own boules) or Level Two membership is £20 per person per calendar year (if you don't own your own boules). The cost difference is used to purchase boules on your behalf that then become yours to keep.
For 2011, there were 16 places available and 13 of these have already been taken.
